CHARLES WILCOX
Charles Wilcox has had a love affair with the ocean since his first steps into the waves. His artwork reflects his passion for water, sand and sun, and his works pay homage to the unpredictable nature of the sea.
​
From sculptures to fine paintings, Charles travels as far as Cape York in Far North Queensland for unique items and inspiration to use within his works. Each piece speaks of its journey: twisted branches smoothed by sand and water; blemished iron beautified by natural patina; aged and dog-eared newspapers revitalised by youthful ink beauties painted on top.

Rusty's Sorrento
I met Charles initially by way of buying one of his outstanding 'Fish' sculptures.
Our conversation about his unique artworks led to him providing creative input and the actual styling of our new restaurant.
Ultimately, Charles designed the 'look' of Rusty's Cafe Bar & Grill in Sorrento and was instrumental in adding value beyond the initial concept. Logo Design, Outdoor Signs and Menu layout have followed on. Two years later I still seek Charles as my 'go-to' person to bounce ideas for further promotions and to produce the artwork.
I constantly receive compliments about the ambience of our restuarant.
I could not recommend Charles more highly for your next project.
